Our Monthly First Tuesday Socials will return for 2024 on TUESDAY next 6th FEBRUARY (day after public holiday) with nothing more energetic than a Meet-up at 2.00 pm for coffee/tea/chat at THE STORE YARD –‘Get Stuffed’ restaurant in PORTLAOISE. If you are not familiar with the venue it is located in the KEA-LEW Business Park –just turn left before the railway bridge on the Mountrath Road out of town (right after railway bridge if coming from Mountrath direction) and go straight ahead off road (Eircode R32TRK4). Before or after the refreshments you will be welcome to have a look around in the Store Yard which though a shop is very interesting in terms of the collection of antiques and stuff they have for sale-basically like a museum without labels.
As supplies etc there may be limited they need an idea of numbers attending so if you plan to attend please let me know by text/email on or before Monday next (5th Feb).

Our first meeting of the year took place on Friday last with the aim of planning events for the year ahead . We had a very low attendance with only 5 members joining myself and charperson Breda. Thanks to those who attended and came up with suggestions for outings locally and further afield. Further enquiries etc will have to be made before we can finalise any monthly events with only July sorted to date. Also thanks to those who sent apologies We are still open to suggestions for venues,events etc (without repeating ones of recent years).
